Daily Holes — your daily nine

Daily Holes is a free daily golf game you play in your browser. Each day a brand new nine-hole course is generated, and every shot comes down to timing: set your line, then stop the power meter at the right moment to carry bunkers, water and rough.

How to play Daily Holes

  1. Tap to aim your shot down the fairway and drag to look around the hole.
  2. Stop the swing meter to choose power - a clean strike rolls out much further.
  3. Read the green, sink the putt and move on to the next of the nine holes.

One course a day, the same one for everybody

The course is generated from the date, so everyone in the world playing on a given day gets the same nine holes, the same wind and the same hazards in the same places. There is no draw to be lucky with and no seed to reroll. When a hole plays impossibly, it played impossibly for everyone, and the leaderboard shows it.

Daily leaderboard and hole-in-ones

Finish your round to see your total score, how you rank against everyone else who played that day, and which holes you aced. Past scores stay on the leaderboard so you can revisit the standings, and watch a shot-by-shot replay of the best card. Past courses are not playable. A weekly board ranks players from Monday to Sunday by rounds played and fewest strokes.

Play against friends

Add a friend with a six-character code or a share link, then challenge them to any recent course. If you are both online you tee off together and watch each other's card fill in as it happens; if not, the challenge waits until they play it. Your record against each friend is kept, the leaderboard can be filtered to just the people you know, and a league gives a private board to a group with a join code.

The hazards

Eight things can turn up on a hole and each one asks a different question. The burn is a river cut diagonally across the fairway, sometimes with a bridge you can bounce across. The crossing is a whole hole played island to island over open water. A gust is a band of moving air you can fly over or walk under. There are island greens, portals that carry you up the hole, a sweeping arm that flings your ball clear, cart paths that run twice as far as fairway, and the putt rings that decide your score on every green.

Daily Holes is worked on continuously, and a new hazard changes what the generator can build — so the course you play tomorrow may contain something that did not exist last week. The most recent changes:
